At this time of the year, when, outwardly, mother nature appears to be standing still; 'stuff' is happening beneath the soil. It won't be long now before we start to see the new shoots bursting through; and spring will have sprung ; but until then, I'm trying to utilize 'this standing still' period.
The labyrinth is a useful tool when my creative mind is doing overtime, but my physical body wants to remain in hibernation for a while longer !.
Doodling them into my sketch book, or allowing my fingers to do the walking on the one I made from paper pulp; has the effect of calming the mind, soothing the soul, and refreshing the spirit.
This labyrinth image is the one found in Chatres Cathedral, Nr Paris. Dating back to 1200.
